Foxit PDF Editor/Reader voert onvoldoende verificatie uit van de JPEG2000-afbeeldingsmetadata in het PDF-bestand, wat leidt tot buiten de grenzen schrijven in de heapbuffer tijdens het decoderen, waardoor het programma mogelijk crasht en het risico van willekeurige code-uitvoering wordt geïntroduceerd.
