MongoDB Compass vertrouwt op Electron, een runtime van derden met een eigen TLS-wortelcertificaatopslag. Dit rootcertificaatarchief heeft de herstelbare eMudhra intermediate CA-certificaten. Het probleem wordt opgelost door bij te werken naar Compass 1.53.1, inclusief Electron 44.9.1.
