Een kwetsbaarheid in het Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) via een Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) voor Cisco IOS XE Software kan ertoe leiden dat een niet-geverifieerde, externe aanvaller het apparaat opnieuw laadt, wat resulteert in een denial of service (DoS) -conditie, of mogelijk de BGP-routeringstabel beschadigt, wat kan leiden tot netwerkinstabiliteit.
