EMC RSA BSAFE Micro Edition Suite (mes) 4.0.x vóór 4.0.6 en RSA BSAFE SSL-J vóór 6.1.4 zorgen er niet voor dat het X.509-certificaat van een server tijdens heronderhandeling hetzelfde is als vóór heronderhandeling, waardoor man-in-the-middle-aanvallers gevoelige informatie kunnen verkrijgen of TLS-sessiegegevens kunnen wijzigen via een "drievoudige handshake-aanval".
