Met de (1) shell_exec-functie in lib/util/MiqSshUtilV1.rb en (2) temp_cmd_file-functie in lib/util/MiqSshUtilV2.rb in Red Hat CloudForms 3.0 Management Engine (CFME) vóór 5.2.4.2 kunnen lokale gebruikers willekeurige opdrachten uitvoeren via een symlink-aanval op een tijdelijk bestand met een voorspelbare naam.
