De functie ip6_route_add in net/ipv6/route.c in de Linux-kernel tot en met 3.13.6 telt de toevoeging van routes niet goed mee, waardoor externe aanvallers een denial of service (geheugenverbruik) kunnen veroorzaken via een stroom ICMPv6-routeradvertentiepakketten.
