De Alarm-API in Mozilla Firefox vóór 33.0 en Firefox ESR 31.x vóór 31.2 beperkt niet goed tot JSON-aanroepen, waardoor externe aanvallers het Same Origin-beleid kunnen omzeilen via vervaardigde API-aanroepen die toegang hebben tot gevoelige informatie binnen de JSON-gegevens van een alarm.
