De mozilla::dom:: OscillatorNodeEngine:: ComputeCustom-functie in het Web Audio-subsysteem in Mozilla Firefox vóór 33.0, Firefox ESR 31.x vóór 31.2 en Thunderbird 31.x vóór 31.2 stelt externe aanvallers in staat om gevoelige informatie uit het procesgeheugen te verkrijgen of een denial of service (lezen buiten de grenzen, geheugenbeschadiging en crash van toepassingen) te veroorzaken via een ongeldige aangepaste golfvorm die een berekening van een negatieve frequentiewaarde activeert.
