Rclone van 1.52.0 voor 1.75.2 bevat een kwetsbaarheid voor het vervalsen van cross-site verzoeken in de localhost OAuth-callback van de pCloud-backend, die de staatscontrole uitschakelt en de hostnaamparameter vertrouwt. Kwaadaardige webpagina's kunnen een stateloos verzoek sturen naar poort 53682 tijdens de autorisatie, waarbij aanvaller-tokens en API-hosts worden geplant, zodat latere overdrachten de aanvaller bereiken.

Rclone from 1.52.0 before 1.75.2 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the pCloud backend's localhost OAuth callback, which disables the state check and trusts the hostname parameter. Malicious web pages can send a stateless request to port 53682 during authorization, planting attacker tokens and API hosts so later transfers reach the attacker.
